Now that I know I am resistant to burning fat (from taking my genetics test from Liv genetics), I’m revamping my snacking!  And I still want something sweet in the afternoons.  My biggest challenge is getting protein with every meal and snack.  These Protein Poppers offer protein with a healthy percentage of fat and carbs.  It helps my energy stay up and they are very tasty.
Protein Poppers
1/2 cup peanut or almond butter – unsweetened
1/2 cup PB2 powdered peanut butter (mixed with water to make it thick yet, pliable)*
3 scoops Liv Pro15 (from Liv International)
3/4 cup uncooked oatmeal (certified gluten free)
2 tablespoons agave nectar or several squirts of Stevia-liquid form)
Optional add-ons:
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup goji berries
shredded coconut to roll the protein poppers in
Step 1:  Get our your food processor and put in your S blade.  Add the peanut butter, the PB2 Peanut butter(already blended), Liv Pro15 powder, oatmeal, and agave nectar. Blend until oat meal is completely incorporated into the mix.
Step 2:  Open lid of food processor and add raisins and goji berries.  Replace lid and pulse until raisins and goji berries are incorporated into the mix but NOT broken down.
Step 3:  Using a teaspoon, spoon a bite size into the palm of your hand and roll into a ball.  Repeat with the rest of the mix.  Place balls on wax paper inside a plastic storage container.   Or roll balls in the shredded coconut and then place inside plastic storage container.
Step 4: Store in refrigerator for up to a month.  Freeze for a quick grab and go snacking option.
*Using the PB2 Powder will reduce the fat in this recipe by half!  And you won’t sacrifice flavor!!!
